What it is

A relationship-as-entity genogram engine. Persons, relationships, child-links, and emotional ties are separate registries — so the complex cases (remarriage, step, unknown parent, adoption, cut-off, enmeshment) all fit cleanly in the same model.

Clinical notation

Squares, circles, diamonds, ghost-boxes for unknowns, deceased X-through, marriage / cohabitation / divorced / separated / widowed markers, step / adopted / foster / raising child-links. McGoldrick conventions.

Emotional overlay

Close, distant, conflict, cut-off, enmeshed, fused. Rendered as a toggleable layer on top of the structural graph — turn it on for a session, off for a family reunion.

Web-native

Open in a browser. Works on a tablet. Autosaves locally. Export to JSON or SVG. No install, no license key, no cloud lock-in unless you want it.

Why now

The gold-standard desktop tool (GenoPro) is Windows-only, single-user, and feels like 2003. The web ecosystem is pedigree-first — you can draw a family tree on Ancestry.com but you can't render a cut-off relationship on it. We're filling the middle: a real clinical genogram, on the web, in your browser right now, with the notation therapists actually need.
