The Marley family descends from reggae icon Bob Marley and radiates outward into one of the largest and most musically active family trees in popular music. Bob's wife, Rita Marley, a singer in her own right, is the matriarch at its center. With Rita, Bob had children including Cedella, Ziggy (born David), and Stephen, and he also adopted Rita's daughters Sharon and Stephanie, so the family combines biological and adopted branches from the outset.
